WKL's license areas are located in the Jurien Bay Marine Park adjoining the town of Jurien Bay, Western Australia. Three hours drive north of the city of Perth, Jurien offers a modern lifestyle well infra structured community of 1,800 people.

WKL operates its near shore ocean based operations within the Marine Park's aquaculture zones that represent 1,427 hectares or 1.7% of the Marine Park.

This makes WKL's Kingfish unique in the world as the conditions are pristine and a paradise for the fish and a very pleasant place to work.
