Pilot trial for juvenile rock lobster approved
(152.1 KB)
Today’s announcement by WKL suggests that the Carpenter
Government is determined to have WA join the list of
successful aquaculture States. WKL has been granted
permission to conduct a commercial scale pilot trial for the
collection and grow-out of juvenile Western Rock Lobster at
Jurien Bay. To aid this process a Ministerial Exemption by the
Western Australian Minister of Fisheries has been issued
allowing WKL to collect 15,000 pueruli for grow-out.

Initiation of Company Coverage - IPO
(860.1 KB)
We believe that WKL's business model is sound and that it has the appropriate location, choice of fish, facilities and
expertise to meet its objective of profitably producing Yellowtail Kingfish on a commercial scale.
There is every reason to expect that, with appropriate support from the Western Australian State Government, the company
will achieve its target of producing 500 tpa after 3 full years of production and that production could significantly increase
thereafter.
